How to Wrap Up a Month

It's almost March!

Instead of just letting the page on the calendar turn itself, here is a quick and intentional way to wrap up one month and transition to another. I set aside 30 minutes to complete this, and plan for the new month. This is a GAME CHANGER.

Doing this practice reminds me of all of the things that went well, and how many memorable things happened. (I don’t know about you, but my brain likes to go straight to “What didn’t I do? Where did I mess up? What goals didn’t I meet?” 🙄)

Instead of just letting the next month happen, or believing the negative thoughts your brain offers, try this quick journaling exercise instead.

1️⃣ On a scale of 1-10, I’d rate this month a ____ because ______________.

2️⃣ The most memorable things that happened this month were ______________. (For this one, I look back through my calendar and photos on my phone. It’s amazing how quickly our brain forgets the good things that happen!)

3️⃣ The accomplishment I’m most proud of is ________________.

4️⃣ The biggest lesson I’ve learned this month was ___________________.

5️⃣ The #1 thing I want to do next month is __________________.

To make this even easier, I stuck a photo below that you can save to your phone. Grab that, set up a time on your calendar to review the month, and set yourself up for March. You’ll be so glad you did!

PS Hey, just so you know, you’re doing great. You should give yourself more credit!
